'Next to Bugs' is the first graphic work written by famous designer and book planner Zhu Yingchun. It gives an insight into the world of bugs we often ignore. The world is so small, compact enough for us to ignore and forget about it. However, just like us, bugs also lead a thrilling life. In their world, a puddle is similar to a sea. a leaf akin to a sunshade, a pebble resembles an isle; furthermore, the gap of a slate can be a battlefield littered with corpses... They are calm and persistent, living in an endless succession. Alike to a mirror, their world helps us to see ourselves and our life.
