In A Philosophy for Communism: Rethinking Althusser Panagiotis Sotiris reconstructs Althussers quest for a new practice of philosophy that would enable a new practice of politics for communism, through a reading of the tensions and dynamics running through his work.
Review
"... Sotiris's book present Althusser's thought as a dynamic, developmental, engagement that remains a rich (although not necessarily programmatic) resource... [The book] is an important achievement - not least for thinking communism today." - Ian Leask,
