Martynov, P.P. Zavrazin, A.V. Gerasimov, and A.T. Vasil'ev. These memoirs disclose the internal life of the secrete police and its key figures and operations during the 19th-early 20th centuries: the assassinations of Pleve, Sipiagin, Stolypin, and Rasputin as well as the scandalous cases of Gapon, Azef, etc.
