Introduction to differential equations

Of the four chapters in his textbook, Taylor uses the first and parts of the second and third for the first semester of a course introducing the theory and practice of differential equations, and the rest of the book for the second semester. The material is suitable for undergraduate or beginning graduate students of mathematics, and for students of the physical sciences and engineering who have completed a three-course calculus sequence. The chapters cover single differential equations, linear algebras, linear systems of differential equations, and nonlinear systems of differential equations.
