The book tells Mary Stuart¡¯s highly controversial life. She inherits the throne of Scotland after birth for 6 days and achieves three crowns of the Queen of France, Queen of Scots and Queen of England at age of 16 with extreme glory. At the age of 19, she takes over the reign of Scotland, but causes the Scottish nobility¡¯s opposition because of the intensification of religious conflicts and suspicion of involvement in murdering her husband. At the age of 25, she is deposed and flees to England, but is imprisoned by her cousin the Queen of England, Elizabeth. After 20 years of captivity, she is sentenced to death. She becomes the first emperor pushed on the chopping block in Europe¡¯s history.
