This anthology, the second of five volumes, contains a detailed survey and analysis of Byzantine sources translated from Greek on the history of peoples of the Eastern Europe, including the peoples of Rus'. Each fragment is provided with an introduction and historico-philological comments. The book is meant to be a supplement to the teaching aid “Drevniaia Rus' v Svete Zarubezhnykh Istochnikov”
