Ji Xianlin Complete Works (Volume I) collects proses written in 1933-1985.Includs four small sets,namely, ""For dream collection"", ""Tianzhu heart shadow,"" ""Long Run set"" and ""Yannan set.""
In the 1930s,the author was asked to compile a collection of proses titled ""For dream collection"",but failed for some reason. Ji Xianlin Complete Works (Peking University Press,1986) compiled in 1985 specifically integrated a set of works before the liberation,still titled ""For dream collection"".
""Tianzhu heart shadow"" is the author's first officially published collection of proses,published by Tianjin Baihua literature and art Press in September 1980,collects what the authour saw and heard during his third Indian trip in 1978.
""Long Run set"" is published by Shanghai Literature and Art Publishing House in March 1981, collects partial proses written after 1949.
""Yannan set"" collects proses from ""Long Run set""publication to 1985.There are a few written prior to the publication,because they never entered into set,also included in ""Yannan set"".
Ji Xianlin Complete Works(Volume I)takes Ji Xianlin Complete Works""as the basis,re-arranges the order in accordance with the time of writing,except that ""Tianzhu heart shadow"" is seqenced by visit scedule, and also supplemently includes ""Remembering Geneva"", ""Requesting simultaneously"".
