帝王师：张居正

Zhang Juzheng is an upright idealist entering into officialdom at 23, but he steps on a pragmatic path by fair means or foul after witnessting the bloody struggles of the cabinet. He gangs up with eunuch to be grand secretary for paving the ways for reformation; he takes bribes of border generals and reinstates greedy officials to totally solve the problems of borderland; in the name of emperor's teacher, he dictates to rectify official atmosphere; he adds charges to fight against enemies and promote reform successfully to reverse the empire crisis.
