Set in the period between Xia and Shang Dynasties and following the tracks of the caravan and the life of Youxing Bupo, a member of the royal family of one of Shangs dependant countries, this novel describes a lot of places, mythical creatures and plants recorded in the book Mountains and Seas Classics. The characters in the novel have experiecned all kinds of difficulties and have developed deep friendship with each other.
