Study of Indian philosophy is incomplete without a knowledge of Vedanta in its triple setting: Advaita, Visistadvaita and Dvaita. For a beginner, the understanding of Advaita is facilitated by a number of short authoritative manuals now available with accurate translations. Similar publications on the Visitadvaita are extremely rare. We hope this book removes this shortcoming in some measure.
Composed by Srinivasarya, a well-known Visistadvaitic philosopher of 17th century,
Yatindramatadipika, or the Light of the System of Sri Ramanuja, is an exposition of the teachings of Visishtadvaita in its aspects of metaphysics, morals and religion familiarly known as Tattva Hita and Purusartha. It is one of the best handbooks for the study of Visishtadvaita.
Included is an excellent introduction by P.N. Srinivasachari. Complete with Devanagari text with English translation and notes by Swami Adidevananda.
