This collection is about the new realities of Russian life, the potential and contribution of a new generation in social sciences. Most of the contributors are people who came to this field in the last decade and are not tied to soviet political paradigms and values. The articles cover new directions of research in sociology, religious studies, political science, economics, philosophy, and history. These scholars attempt to describe new realities and alternatives of social development in Russia. Many of the articles are written as dialogs about the most crucial issues of Russia today.
