Duality: The Beauty of Truth

The Beauty of Truth is a planned series of 4 books written in an epic style, inspired by The Iliad. It is a philosophical work conceived to try and answer universal questions as to the existence and meaning of Beauty and Truth. But much like the search for a just man by Socrates/Plato in The Republic, the answers are found in a roundabout fashion. This work does so by examining Time—what is it? It is by reflecting upon the energetic nature of Time that the actuality of Beauty and Truth is ultimately revealed. This process allows the wisdom of Newton, Einstein, Buddha, and Christ to be incorporated and synthesized. The minor fictional story line paces the ideas, and is set in the mind of a wrongly imprisoned man sentenced to die. The first book in the series, Duality, examines the nature of Beauty and Truth by first exploring the ways in which we conceive the Reality around us, via Rational and Intuitive views. This inherent dichotomy is forced on us by the way it is naturally constructed, composed of Inanimate and Animate Universes. The former universe consisting of essences ranging from Star to Matter; the latter universe consisting of essences ranging from Soul to Life. The Rational Inanimate Universe corresponds and fulfills the Finite laws of Science, but not the modern interpretations of it; the Intuitive Animate Universe corresponds and fulfills the Infinite source behind Religions, but not the modern varieties of them. A dualistic Reality exists, which can be unified by using a new conception of Time to lever them into their natural places.
