China was almost the most advanced nation in the world when Emperor Huizong of Song was in reign. During the over two decades of his reign, the emperor talented in art led Song Dynasty to reach its peak in culture. However, he was captured by Jurchen and died in a foreign land, so he was considered a failed emperor by later generations, a negative example of teaching material of moral education.
