Remaining its original style, the author revises the wrong words, and uses () for obvious errors, [] for corrected and supplementary, footnotes for proofread notes. Thousands of comments of more than 200 thousands of Chinese characters on A New Account of Tales of the World are selected out of the over-the-years literary documents such as commentary, supplementary, continued imitation, catalogs, preface and articles. General review is placed before the body, item comment after each item. Review on the body or footnote is placed after them, and there are text comments before the marked and directions; the comment for the whole item is placed after it, and in the same space there are more than one comment to a item, the comments are not marked.
