This book is a history about Chinese underworld whose coming into being, development and decline are combed out, studied and exhibited. This is a serious history works, in which all the narrated facts are well grounded. It is not the so called ""stern study""or ""snoopy study"". In an all-around way, this book introduces all the history about the underworld of China, including two secret systems before the downfall of Qing dynasty: secret school and secret party, and even Huidao school and underworld in the Republic of China.
