The Bible As Book: The Hebrew Bible and the Judaean Desert Discoveries

Nineteen contributions from international scholars discuss the implications of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls for our understanding of the Hebrew Bible. Topics include, for example, the development of the closed canon of Scriptures, the Bible as quoted in the non-biblical texts from Qumran, and changes in textual criticism since the discovery.
