This book studies on the Japanese ideology history to describe the argument and perception of the East Asia added with the historical reading of the realistic political situation of East Asia such as Sino-Japanese relation and Okinawa issue, etc., and makes profound collocation to the academic contribution of YuzoMizoguchi and Maruyama Masao from the perspective of history of thought. Sun Ge believes that if we want to involve East Asia into our knowledge range, we have to cast away some misunderstandings such as the binary opposition of theory and practice, universality and particularity, etc. to establish new historical epistemology, that is, the so-called theory of physical properties and universality of difference, to discover problems and fissure in the argument and perception of East Asia we have been accustomed to grasp the moment to enter into history and form the recognition and argument of East Asia with Chinese characteristics different from that of Japan or South Korea.
