The treaty at the heart of this work resolved a dispute between Lycia and Cabalia, two regions of ancient Asia Minor. The inscription dates from circa 160-50 B.C.E. and addresses boundary disputes between the cities of Tlos and Termessos, establishing property and grazing rights. The study includes epigraphic and numismatic sources from the region. Thirteen other inscriptions are also presented, including the 46 B.C.E. treaty between Lycia and Rome and the Patara stadiasm. A closing topographical study sheds light on the frontiers of Termessos, contributing to the territorial history of ancient Asia Minor. French text.
