Han Dynasty inherited the system of Qin and unified the whole country with the consistent law for over 440 years. Although the rulers of Han Dynasty advocated the policy of "respecting only Confucianism", the policies of "seeking hegemony" and "benevolent government" were also followed. Qin and Han dynasties were open eras, during which the Silk Road was opened and the descendants of Buddhism appeared.
