Vedic tantrism : a study of Ṛgvidhāna of Śaunaka with text and translation

The Rgvidhana ascribed to Saunaka is the earliest manual of magic or magic-religious rites and practices anticipating the later tantric rites. It employs hymns, parts of hymns and even verses from the Rgveda for those who are desirous of attaining the four aims of human existence with least effort.
