This book is designed for the adult who wishes to acquire rapidly a sound knowledge of everyday German. Because of the many Anglo-Saxon words which German has in common with our own language, it is not too difficult to learn, and the reader will be admirably equipped when he has studied and practiced the thirty-six lessons contained in part one of the book. Part two contains bilingual reading matter, German prose and poetry.
