纪事录笺证

Chronicle Records, originally named Ming Dynasty Chronicle Records, was written by Yu Ben at the turning of Yuan and Ming dynasty, later deleted by Zhang Datong with the title of Unofficial Record on the Founding of Ming Dynasty. Annotations on Chronicle Records written by Yu Ben consists of two volumes, which introduces the big and small issues in the annalistic style from the end of Yuan Dynasty in the year 1351 to the beginning of Ming Dynasty in the year 1402, covering war, system, secrets, rumors and social aspects without scruples. Therefore, the book can supplement the deficiency of Emperor Taizu of Ming Records to correct the mistakes and distinguish the false.
