Product Description India's endeavour under Prime Minister Modi is to actively interact and cooperate with the international community and to promote India's regional and global objectives. India has tried to deepen her engagements with the South Asian neighbours, as also built important strategic partnerships with U.S, Russia, Korea and Japan. There has been an upward trajectory in India's Act East Policy, and her engagement with the Southeast Asian and East Asian countries has enlarged. In her Look West Policy, India is simultaneously, trying to balance her relationship with the Gulf nations and Israel. About the Author Dr Roshan Khanijo is a Senior Research Fellow and Research Co-coordinator at the Centre for Strategic Studies and Simulation (CS3), United Service Institution of India (USI), New Delhi. Her academic qualification includes BSc, MA and Ph.D. She is a strategic analyst. Her areas of focus are Security, Nuclear Issues, Indo-Pacific Region, Niche technologies and South Asia.Dr. AnuragTripathi is Assistant Professor in Christ University Bengaluru, Karnataka. Earlier; he was Research Associate at the Institute for Conflict Management (ICM), New Delhi. He earned his MA, M. Phil and Ph.D. from School of International Studies (SIS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). His doctoral thesis was focused on Kazakhstan-China Relations, 1991-2009.
