The book is Nietzsches first systematic aesthetic and philosophical works. Although this book is a discussion of tragedy, but it actually contains rich contents. It illustrates many of the authors philosophical ideas, and can be said to be the birthplace of his philosophy. It is an important work that in this book, the writer does not merely discuss pure tragedy theory, but discusses the relationship between tragedy and life from the perspective of life philosophy, to establish a tragic view on life.
