Augustus lost every battle, and at last he was only a nominal supreme commander and did not go into battle any more. This book does not include description on tense battle nor the wonderful plot about cheering victory. If the war and the politics could reflect the character of the highest authority, all it can be said is that Augustus does not have the distinctive character as Caesar does.
