The volume follows the format of the first report ( EAA 35, 1987 ), with as much information as possible given in map form supplemented by parish commentaries and tables. An introduction gives a background to Fenland archaeology and the formation of Flandrian deposits, with a summary emphasising significant findings and important items requiring urgent attention.
