Taking the cultural exchange between ancient China and extraterritorial areas as its theme, Solid History-- to See Ancient Chinese and Extraterritorial Culture through Images put ancient China into the history of the whole Eurasian continent. Based on the materials, archaeological data and image data, the book progressively tells that the former two lay emphasis on the exchange of China and the prairie nomad in North China; the latter two cover the two ends of the whole Eurasian continent. The book expresses the bi-directionality and complexity of culture exchange in terms of artistic expression and cases in life.
