Based on the finishing and research work of bamboo slips of Tsinghua University, which have attracted the close attention at home and abroad in recent years, combined with various findings about the bamboo slips in China since the ancient times, this book discusses many important questions about the academic development of ancient China, such as evolvement of Book of History and the eternal mystery of the authenticity of classical Book of History, the truth of King Wen receiving instructions and Duke Zhou conquering the states in the east, and new knowledge in Book of Zhou, etc. By explaining the profound in simple terms, this book helps readers understand the history of bamboo slips, the research course of bamboo slips, the finishing and protection work of bamboo slips of Tsinghua University and their huge role in promoting Chinese academic development.
