This is not a book about Voodou, it's a cookbook. You do not need to know or even be interested in Voodou to use this book. All you need to be interested in is unique, delicious recipes from all over the world. From Haiti to Hawaii, this is a collection of recipes you've never seen before and if you collect unusual cookbooks, this is the book for you. That being said, if you are a Vodouisant, this book will help you serve the Lwa by recommending dishes to make as offerings. There is an introduction including basic information on Voodou and the Lwas but mostly, this is a collection of recipes that the Lwas enjoy, labeled for your convenience.
