The Everlasting Light

During the Christmas season we are surrounded by lights—on trees, in and on our homes, all around us. In this Christmas message, Elder David A. Bednar invites us to remember He who is the source of all light by visualizing ourselves as participants in the Nephite Christmas story. This account of the first Christmas "helps us to learn and more fully understand that Jesus Christ is the 'Light which shineth in darkness,'...dispels fear, provides assurance and direction, and engenders enduring peace and joy." As we liken this story to ourselves, we can recognize "the everlasting Light" and be filled with the true spirit of Christmas.
