This book introduces general method of partial differential equations definite solution problem, method of separation of variables, integral transformation method, the method of fundamental solutions and variational method, special functions and generalized functions, etc, through discussion of three kinds of typical equation. It also discusses the characteristic line concept of and solution methods of first-order linear and quasilinear partial differential equations.
