This is the first in a series of volumes presenting in typeset cuneiform facsimile texts from the Library of Assurbanipal. In addition to an introduction that discusses the sources for the text, Parpola presents the text, a composite transliteration, glossary, indexes, and a sign list. A variant apparatus details significant variants in the different sources for the text.
