The book Bohemian House is a collection of prose works written by the writer Yan Geling, including all the prose works and speeches she has published so far. The section of Bohemian House mainly tells various stories happening from her studying abroad to her getting married in the years of her living abroad; the section of Reading Notes in Africa mainly describes what she saw and heard in Africa, where she stayed, following her husband, who was sent to Africa on a diplomatic mission; the section of My Stories to Tell consists of the stories happening when she created her novels; and the last section - About Creation is a written arrangement of her speeches made at the awards ceremony in universities.
