Canadian Selection: Filmstrips

This basic, annotated bibliography of Canadian-produced filmstrips lists approximately 1800 significant items, in both English and French, produced in Canada for children and young adults up to August, 1978.
Compiled as a previewing and selection guide for schools and libraries and as a basic bibliography for international reference, this volume lists the filmstrips by Dewey Decimal classification number and incorporates a new approach to subject access by using the Preserved Context Index System (PRECIS), a computer-generated system founded on linguistic principles. It also contains a key to abbreviations, a title index, a series list, and a directory of distributors.
