The concept of nation building is a multi-dimensional process, addressing various components simultaneously. It takes into account the various historical and geographical perspectives of the country in question, noting the peculiarities and diversity of its cultural ethos, including its social, economic and political structures. In the context of India, this process is associated with the central values embodied in the preamble of the countrys constitution, which advocates for the establishment of secular, socialist and democratic society based on well-defined fundamental rights. About the Author


An alumnus of Allahabad University, India, Dr Anand Shanker Singh is Principal of Iswar Saran Degree College, India. His work on Brahmi inscriptions has had a significant influence on the reconstruction of ancient Indian history. His has published scores of research papers in national and international journals, and has edited twelve books. His book Bharat Ki Prachin Mudrayen received the Acharya Narendra Dev Award from Uttar Pradesh Hindi Sansthan, Lucknow. Dr Singh is also the recipient of several fellowships and awards, including the Excellence Award from the International Institute of Education and Management, New Delhi, in 2010. He was also nominated for Rajiv Gandhi Award by the Indian Solidarity Council. He is Chief Editor of the National Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies, and serves as an advisor and reviewer for a number of Indian and international journals.
