End-to-End Encrypted Messaging

This practical guide is intended as a reference for security managers, network practitioners, system and network administrators, software engineers, and students. It can be used for self-study or as a course text. While the book explains the roots and origins of secure email messaging, with discussion of OpenPGP and S/MIME, focus is on the Signal protocol and its implementation and use in WhatsApp. Other E2EE messengers, OTR, and privacy issues are also examined.
