Hebrews: It's Not How You Start - It's How You Finish: A Study Guide to the Most Encouraging Book in the New Testament

Having been written to Jewish believers in Christ of the first century, the unnamed author presents a very logical presentation demonstrating Christ's superiority over prophets, angels, Moses, and Joshua. He is able to prove that Christ's priestly ministry is superior over the present one established by the Mosaic Law in that He is eternal, He is the mediator of a better covenant, He ministers in a better sanctuary, and He offered a better sacrifice for sin once for all which entitles Him to sit at God's right hand as Our Great High Priest. The believers are finally exhorted, with the help of five severe warnings, to persevere in the faith and not to lapse back into Judaism in the face of their sufferings.
