中国古代琥珀艺术

This is the only book known in China specializing in the Chinese ancient amber. It reviews and discusses China's ancient amber art,especially the amber art of Khitan,a minority race in northern China based on previous studies ,combing of the documents and using of the archaeological material in the recent century, in order to reveal the characteristics, similarities and differences between Chinese and Western amber art, the Khitan amber art achievement and its connotation as well as ancient Chinese and Western cultural exchange contained in the source of China's ancient amber raw materials.
