Bahl updates his reference on lumped elements in radio-frequency and microwave circuits to incorporate developments in the field during the 19 years since the first edition. Many of the innovations were driven by the desire toward miniaturization and improved electrical performances, but he also includes information on a wider range of radio frequency integrated circuits than was available previously. His topics include printed inductors, monolithic capacitors, via holes, airbridges and dielectric crossovers, and lumped-element active circuits.
