Product Description This collection of eleven interdisciplinary papers, from the third German Archaeological Congress of the Roman Archaeology group at Heidelberg in May 1999, aims to integrate archaeological, natural science and environmental studies to provide a detailed picture of Roman activity, predominantly in central Europe.
