The site provided a rare opportunity to excavate an important pottery production area whilst also contributing valuable information about Roman activity in the Severn Valley during the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. In addition to reports on local wares, the book also contains reports on other Roman and prehistoric finds and environmental remains.
