Product Description
This study surveys the changing urban topography of the Iberian peninsular from the 4th to 7th centuries AD, paying particular attention to the Christianisation of the urban landscape. It compiles a catalogue of episcopal seats and other urban centres, noting changes in terms of ecclesiastical building, the adaptation of public spaces to Christian ritual activity and the chaging funerary landscape.
