Late La Tène Pottery of the Nene and Welland Valleys, Northamptonshire: With particular reference to Channel-rim Jars

Based on a M.Phil thesis, this volume outlines and discusses both published and previously unpublished La Tène pottery from sites in the Nene and Welland valleys of Northamptonshire. Inter-site comparisons are made to draw out and identify any cultural groupings and status differentiation between areas. The author has produced a comprehensive critical analysis of many of the sites of the transitional late Iron Age/early Roman period. With an extensive and fully illustrated appendix cataloguing the pottery finds.
