Hearts and Bones: Bone Raw Material Exploitation in Tierra del Fuego

This study investigates the uses of bone as a raw material on the Tierra del Fuego. Scheinshon first determines the mechanical properties of bones to be found on the island, and then traces the rates of use of bones from various taxa, and the evolution of techniques of exploitation of bone resources.
