Product Description
By analysing two Palaeoltihic flint assemblages and taking on experimental work on handaxe morphological variability, Vicky Winton aims to discover something of the cultural and technological adaptation of Lower and Middle Palaeolithic groups in Britain. Using two case studies (Wood Hill, Kingsdown in Kent and Dickett's Field, Yarnham's Farm, Alton in Hampshire) she develops new methods of analysing Palaeolithic artefacts from deposits termed Clay-with-Flints and provides new insights into their manufacture. The CD includes a video presentation.
