These 29 papers are taken from that conference and together they review old and new theoretical and methodological objectives and perspectives on functional analysis as applied to prehistoric case studies. The 18 papers that discuss specific case studies are divided between those focusing on hunter-gatherers and those dealing with agro-pastoral groups with the majority of examples coming from Iberia.
