This volume comprises the final part of the publication of excavations at the Nubian site of Meinarti. It focuses on the church and cemetery which were in use throughout the Christian period. Adams presents the evidence for the church's three phases of construction and discusses its murals and inscriptions before looking at the different types of burial discovered in the cemetery, the gravegoods, the skeletal evidence and the Christian and Islamic tombstones. A final brief section, called Meinarti V provides an interpretive overview of Meinarti's history from the first Meroitic settlement through to its post-Christian occupation. Arabic summary.
