This volume presents the findings of the Michoacan III project, which aimed to investigate and illuminate the mysterious early postclassic occupation phase in the Michoacan region, Mexico. It focuses on the settlements of the Milpillas region, particularly on group B, providing an extremely detailed and thorough catalogue of the structures here, as well as investigating what activities would have taken place there, to provide a thorough overview of the site. Accompanying it will be another volume to place this site in the wider context of the settlement patterns of the Tarascan empire more generally.
