Upper Palaeolithic Dwellings of Mammoth Bones in the Ukraine: Kiev-Kirillovskii, Gontsy, Dobranichevka, Mezin and Mezhirich

The investigation of upper palaeolithic dwellings in which mammoth bones were a constituent structural feature can illuminate many facets of the prehistoric people who built and lived in them; other finds made during their excavation assist in this task. This is an under-researched area, and this detailed investigation of five dwellings in modern-day Ukraine should be of value for palaeontologists, archaeologists, anthropologists and many others.
