The Cemeteries at Marki: Using a looted landscape to investigate prehistoric Bronze Age Cyprus

Based on the author's thesis, this study focuses on the scattered surface material that resulted from the looting of three Bronze Age cemeteries near to the site of Marki Alonia in central Cyprus. Sneddon explains the background to the sites and material, the theory and methodology of the survey, the taphonomic processes at work and the potential use of looted material in general.
